Our techs have plenty of experience migrating web sites and are able to take care of everything – from a common WordPress blog or Joomla^™–powered web site, to a very complex, custom–built application.

A: There are lots of variables to keep in mind – the overall amount of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the present workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. Still, we do try to carry out all website migrations in a 48–hour time period. Smaller–sized web sites are migrated faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We will require the login details for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel and the website’s name (domain name).

When we are done with the migration, your web site will be configured to work on our system and we will ask you to preview it. If it is working properly, all you will need to do is change the NS records pertaining to your domain name. Your web site will be transferred to us with no downtime.

A: Nah. We’ll never contact your hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the web site migration either.

A: We can migrate your web site from any hosting provider or any Linux–powered web hosting platform given that we can receive access to the Control Panel and there is File Transfer Protocol access available.The only websites that we’re unable to migrate are those based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
